PREPARE THE FUTURE: LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY

SCRIPTURE: “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV)

QUOTE: “The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance.” -Brian Tracy.

NOTE:

Nothing works without love. The best of plans can fail if the people can perceive a lack of love in the overall system. You don’t want to run an organization that is devoid of love. Hence, for love to happen, the one that will take over the responsibility of running the organization in the future must be infused with love. It must be seen in the environment of training and should be demanded as a necessity for assuming any meaningful placement.

People naturally give their best in the best of environments. Major corporations in the world today understand this and you can see it in their workspace arrangement. If a clean and organized environment can motivate then a loving environment will definitely do more.

ILLUSTRATION:

The relationship that existed between Jesus and his disciples profoundly illustrates this point. In training them to take over the future of a worldwide movement – Christianity, some of them could lay on his bosom. Jesus understood that for them to push beyond boundaries something was needed that was beyond instructions and lectures. Like our pattern, to raise men and women of stature, we much engage love.

REFLECTION:

  1. Are those under you willing to push beyond boundaries?
  2. How do you think engaging love will boost their commitment to surpassing your expectations?
