SCRIPTURE: And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate. (Luke 15:23-24)
QUOTE: ”If you want to be average, do what others do. If you want to be awesome, do what no one does.” –Alexander Den Heijer
NOTE:
You will see the best from your team when you learn as a leader to celebrate them. Celebrating their small successes means you will see more and more successes. Everyone loves to be celebrated. Several studies show people give their best where they feel appreciated, where they feel valued. Our opening scripture sets the standard, team members should be celebrated even after they make a significant mistake. True
loyalty is produced when people know what they get or how they are treated isn’t because of what they represent. The Bible says it is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. God understands this completely. The more goodness and celebration your team gets from you, the more you will see your desires come true.
ILLUSTRATION:
God has never dealt with us based on our qualifications. In fact, no human can measure to his divine standards. This knowledge brought about the death and resurrection of Christ our savior for our salvation. This attitude of putting us first is scattered all through the scriptures. One of which is “according as his divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue 1Peter 1:3. “To build a transformational team, copying Christ is must.
