SCRIPTURE: The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.” (Prov. 16:1 KJV)
QUOTE: “Indecision is already a decision, because you have decided not to decide.” Anonymous
NOTE:
There is a tremendous need for good decision makers in today’s world. When people improve their decision-making skills, they will increase their value in their future jobs, families and communities. Decision making involves making choices.
Leaders must know that if they must create a new beginning, the choice and the quality of decision making is very crucial from the start to the finishing of whatever they intend to achieve. It is not enough to have goals or targets, but you must make a quality decision as far as that goal is concerned. Decisions must be based on principles, if it will be productive.
The outcome of any season is a function of decision, either good or bad. Decision either makes leaders’ projects or vision productive or unproductive. Leaders should know that every decision must undergo the processes before it is finalized.
ILLUSTRATION:
Every leader should know that in creating a new season tough decisions must be established. Decision should be based on principles and not sentiments, because every decision subjected to a set of principles has the tendency to produce good outcome.
REFLECTION:
Before you take decision this new season ask yourself the following:
- What is initiating this decision?
- Is it built on principles?
- What am I really aiming at?
