SCRIPTURE: “And now dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honourable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” (Phil. 4:8 NIV)
QUOTE: If you can think enough, what you have is enough. – Bishop David Oyedepo.
NOTE:
You will definitely need a change of thinking in order to move from where you are to where you want to be. Right thoughts are agents of change. We only experience success to the degree we are able to make positive changes in our thinking process; (“As he thinketh in his (mind), so is he”) The capacity of your thoughts invariably determines the velocity of your life. Your thinking will always set you apart from the rest, positively or negatively.
An attitude of positive thinking separates kings from servants; failures from success and the rich from the poor. It will only take a positive mindset to emerge as an asset in your generation. Beloved, you don’t have to be stuck where you are. Put on your thinking cap, change your perception, embrace a winning mindset. You can create a better reality for your life.
ILLUSTRATION.
“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!”
The prodigal son was ordained a king in his father house but he ended up a poor servant in a foreign nation for his foolish choice of negative thinking. But a day came he sat down to change the course of his life. One thought; “and when he came to himself…” (Luke 15:17), changed the trajectory of his life, 360-degrees.
REFLECTION:
- What is your mind pre-occupied with?
- How healthy are those thoughts?
