SCRIPTURE: “Remember not the former things neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV.)
QUOTE: “There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.” – Ronald Reagan
NOTE:
Breaking new grounds is about taking new steps, taking new territories, having your dreams, goals and aspirations met by ensuring that you are committed to the demands. It is more about focusing on the new and letting go of the past, as seen from our text today. The realization of every new step and dream gives the leader certain degree of motivation and hope; most especially as they desire to walk with God in the process of doing more and being more in life’s divine assignments. This will make the Lord to create a way out for them, thereby turning such difficult situations into joyful and satisfactory ends.
ILLUSTRATION
At ninety years of age, the man called Abraham really had nothing to show, though he was promised by God to become the father of many nations in years to come. Abraham walked with God in such a way that he was so committed, dedicated, passionate and diligent, until the Lord reconned with his passion and commitment, then went ahead to turn his vicinity into a great abode, granting him access to new territories by the birth of his son, Isaac; at hundred years of age.
