BREAKING NEW GROUNDS: FOLLOW PROCESS

SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.)” (1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV)

QUOTE: “The only barrier to truth is the presumption that you already have it.” – Chuck Missler

NOTE:

Breaking new grounds is about setting new targets and records in our families, finances, academics, ministries, careers, etc., and stretching ultimately to achieve them by following due processes. Everything in life is process driven. There’s a process of growth from childhood to adulthood. We live in a process filled world, where almost everything has a demand placed on them before you can access them. In the process of growth; people change in sizes, length, heights, sometimes color, sometimes sex, even behaviorally.

What makes the leader go to higher levels and conquer new frontiers eventually is their ability to follow through in the process amidst all the difficulties, trials temptations, gossips, barriers, turbulences etc. Even when we make inquiries from God on what to do, if you can’t wait to follow the process of (time) required in the generation of an answer or result, you’ll never get it. In the process of time things change, and sometimes operate within a cycle: from good, bad, worse, terminal, irreversible or reversible etc. For example, a believer trusting God to do exploits for the kingdom, the processes involved are many but not limited to: faithfulness in Church attendance, faithfulness in study and prayer life, stretching, right attitude to work, pushing, spending and being spent, and building faith in God, etc.

ILLUSTRATION:

A woman wanted her two sons to break new grounds and set new records. Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou?  She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?  They say unto him, We are able” Amazingly, in the end, both broke records!

REFLECTION:

Are you the leader that wouldn’t mind following through divine process to fulfilling purpose?
