FAITH REMINDERS: FAITH SPEAKS

SCRIPTURE: And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak. (2 Corinthians 4:13, NKJV).

QUOTE: “Do not come into agreement with fear, activate your faith, live in victory speak over your life and expect great things to come your way.” – Germany Kent.

NOT:

Faith has a voice; faith is never silent. In this kingdom, a closed mouth is a guarantee of a closed destiny. When you are silent, you will be silenced. Remember, those who have the spirit of faith always say something. Apostle Paul said, “the righteousness which if of faith speaks in this way…”(Romans 10:6). So faith says, faith speaks.

We live in a world framed by words and rules by words. You are either creating your world with your words or living in a world created by the words of others. Sincerely, it matters what you are saying, because saying always precedes seeing. Your confession is your exemption out of any trial, temptation and trouble. The universe is waiting on your words. It is time to start issuing commands because whatever you are calling is coming.

ILLUSTRATION:

In Numbers 13, Caleb with Joshua made a declaration of faith, “Let us go up at once and take possession of the land, for we are well able to overcome it” (verse 30). This was contrary to what the other ten spies said. It is true that the people who dwell in the land were strong; it is true that the cities were fortified and very large. It is also true that descendants of Anak who were giants lived there. But more true was the conviction of Joshua and Caleb, which they declared unapologetically. Eventually, what they said, they got!

REFLECTION:

  1. X-tray the words you often speak over your life and situations, are they inspired by faith or fear?
