NOTE: When you have a mentor, you gain immediate access to someone you can trust who has experience in the same realm you are trying to navigate. This can be priceless. Even when you can access information online or from friends going through a similar experience, nothing comes close to the advice that a mentor (someone with experience who has learned from their own mistakes) can share with you. In this way you are better equip for a more successful practice or experience in life and work, especially on the very area your mentor is excellent in.
