CREATING THE FUTURE: CHANGE YOUR APPROACH

SCRIPTURE: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” (Mark 2:22 NLT)

QUOTE:Strategy is about setting yourself apart from the competition. It’s not a matter of being better at what you do – it’s a matter of being different at what you do.” – Michael Porter

NOTE:

Changing your state and status does not come by leaving your life to chance but by constantly embracing positive changes. To live an existence without hope and resign to fate is to live less than you are destined to live. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different and better result is simply an expression of folly. This is one of the reasons behind the failures of many people in our society. Beloved, it’s time to brace up. Until you change your approach in life, you may never be able to improve on your results. Arriving at your desired future will involve new ways and new strategies. You’ve got to be dynamic to get better results. It’s time to change tactics, set new goals, take a U-turn, analyze differently, repent of besetting habits and launch out for more.

ILLUSTRATION:

The man at the pool of Bethesda was at a spot for almost four decades, because he was rigid in his approach to getting healed. His disposition; “there was no man”. He had a “man” fixed approach. He would have been there more decades, if he hadn’t embraced the Jesus Christ’s approach. (John 5:1-15)

REFLECTION:

Is the future looking bleak and seemingly uncertain? Change gear, be flexible, do things differently!
